The practical effect

Your price is unchanged. Amazon charges what it would have charged anyway; our share comes from Amazon.
Rankings are not for sale. Some categories pay more than others. That never moves a product up a page.
No sponsored entries. No manufacturer has paid to appear here, and none has been offered the chance.
No personal data reaches us. Amazon tells us how many sales there were, not who made them.

Spotting an affiliate link

The rule is simple: Amazon links pay us, other links do not. You can confirm it in the page source, where affiliate links carry rel="nofollow sponsored".

What the price on a page is worth

Prices shown on this site were read from the Amazon listing and stored. They change, sometimes within the day, and a product can go out of stock or be withdrawn without the page knowing. The price and availability on Amazon at the moment of purchase are the ones that apply.
