On accuracy

Mistakes get corrected when we learn of them, but no guarantee of completeness or currency is offered. A specification is the maker’s claim. A price is a reading from a moment. A rating is a running average that keeps moving.

Purpose

Everything here is general information assembled from published sources: maker specifications, listing prices and buyer ratings. None of it is advice for your particular situation, and none of it replaces the manufacturer’s own documentation.

Availability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of error, and we may change or remove any page at any time.

Links to other sites

We link out to Amazon and to makers’ own pages. Those sites are outside our control. A purchase creates a contract with the seller alone; we have no standing in it and no ability to help with delivery, refunds or warranty.

Content on this site

We own the writing and the way it is arranged. Trade marks, product photographs and specification wording remain the property of their owners and are used to identify the products under discussion. Quote a short extract with attribution and a link if you wish; do not republish pages whole. Rights holders who see a problem should write to us and we will act quickly.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from a decision made on the basis of something read here — including a purchase that turned out to be wrong for you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
