Key specs explained for Tour V5

Magnification: 6x

This magnification level allows you to see distant pins clearly without excessive zoom. It strikes a balance between field of view and detail. You will find it easier to lock onto targets in tight rough or against busy backgrounds. Compare this to lower magnification models that may struggle with small targets, or higher ones that can shake in your hands.

Pin Lock Feedback: Visual JOLT

The Visual JOLT feature provides a subtle vibration when the rangefinder locks onto the pin. This confirms accurate targeting without relying solely on audio cues. It is particularly useful in windy conditions or when you prefer quiet operation on the course. This helps ensure you are measuring the correct target rather than a tree behind the flag.

Weight: 12.6 ounces

This weight keeps the device light enough to carry comfortably in your bag or pocket all day. You will not feel the burden of extra bulk during your round. It offers a sturdy feel without being heavy. Compare this to heavier models that might cause fatigue, or lighter ones that may feel less durable or stable in your grip.

Color: Black/Gray

This color scheme offers a neutral, professional look that blends well with standard golf bags. It is less likely to show dirt or wear from regular use compared to lighter colors. The dark tones also help reduce glare from the sun. You will appreciate a finish that remains discreet and low-profile on the course.
